Meydan: A new journey
Meydan is the new growth center of Dubai, which has very quickly become the heart of the emirate. With its cosmopolitan lifestyle and many amenities, citizens and tourists have a never-ending number of activities to choose from every day.
In the last few years, the government’s focus has been put into the quality of life of the population especially towards incentivizing sports and fitness; something that has translated into newer sports facilities and events, that’s why Meydan will be starting the year with a new Super Sports Run.
What a great moment to enjoy the fresh weather! February 12th will be the day that citizens and tourists will be able to walk, run or sprint the event produced by none other than Super Sports.
The Meydan Run
For more than 15 years they’ve been organizing all sorts of sporting events, always with great quality and attention to detail. Next year’s Meydan run won’t be the exception, as everything’s prepared to offer the best 3, 5 or 10K of your life (you can choose the distance you want to run!).
With traffic-free roads, you will be able to run around Nad Al Sheba, as the race starts and finishes at the Track Golf Clubhouse. The organization guarantees aid stations, snacks, refreshment and music from start to finish.
This is an event for everyone; from experienced, competitive racers, to social runners, kids and even the elderly. It’s a great opportunity for the whole family to enjoy.

The race is meant for fun and enjoying the nice weather and beautiful views, still, it will be competitive for those who are competitive runners. Medals come included in the registration, as well as a race shirt, a certificate and all the refreshment mentioned before.
Registration closes on February 9th, however, there will be one more race on March 18th.
