The Dubai Canal Run

Enjoy the beautiful scenes of the incredible Dubai Canal during the Dubai Canal Run. Run along the iconic Dubai Canal and enjoy the scenery along the route of the Business Bay vista.
Dubai Canal Run is an annual race organized for both beginner and professional runners. The very first Dubai Canal Run was held in 2019 and was attended by more than 10,500 participants who ran across the Dubai Canal. Due to its popularity, the Canal Run had its second edition in 2020. And since then, it has become an annual event.
Dubai Canal Run 2022
There are several race categories so that the participants can choose a race category appropriate to their age and experience, they can compete at distances from 1 to 10 km:
- – Kids 4-12- 1/3 KM
- – Kids 13-17 -3/5 KM
- – Adults 18-59 -3/5/10 KM
- – Seniors 60+ 3/5/10 KM
1 km is ideal for kids, 5 km is suitable for those who want to make an effort, 10 km run is for professional runners who would prefer to do their best and complete the whole distance.
This year the event will take place on the 26th of February and the run will start at approximately 6.45 am. This may change and be dependent on your category. You should arrive no less than 45 mins before your race start time. Late entries won’t be allowed to start.
The organizers also offer to visit a warmup session before the start of the race.
The race village opens at 6 am. There you can find various food/ coffee outlets, toilets, medical support, refreshments, retail outlets, race giveaways, bag drop areas. There will be water stations available at the event on the course as well as first aid stations.
This is the perfect way to enjoy the beautiful nature and start your weekend on a healthy note.
After the run, every participant will get a gift for his efforts.
