With the Football World Cup on the horizon, the focus of football lovers is firmly on international football worldwide. But club football will share the spotlights for fans in the UAE as four European teams are set to participate in the Dubai Super Cup. From 8th to 16th December, Al Maktoum Stadium, Oud Metha, will host Dubai Super Cup 2022.
Participating Teams
Four teams from major European leagues are participating in the Dubai Super Cup 2022. The participants are as follows:
OLYMPIQUE LYONNAIS
8-time holders of the French Cup
Arsenal FC:
The current king of the Premier League table
AC Milan
7-time holders of the European Champions League
Liverpool FC
6-time holders of the European Champions League
Excluding the players participating in the World Cup, these top clubs are expected to bring out their respective big guns for the Dubai Super Cup 2022.
Matches Schedule
Dubai Super Cup 2022 has been scheduled for 8 to 16 December 2022. All matches will be held at the Al Maktoum Stadium in the heart of Dubai.

Due to the somewhat unconventional format of the tournament, you won’t see Liverpool vs Arsenal and AC Milan vs Lyon.
Who Will Be Crowned?
The teams will play four matches in the tournament from the 8th to the 16th of December. Each victory will bag the winning team three points. However, in case of a draw, both sides secure two points each. Plus, after each match and regardless of the final score, there will be a penalty shootout with the winner getting an extra point. After four matches, the team with the most points take the title.

Tickets for the tournament are currently on sale. There are several ticket categories with corresponding prices, starting from AED 250.

- Category A with parking from AED 820
- VIP Tickets from AED 1000
- VIP with parking from AED 1050
